*** NOTE *** PLACE OF SERVICE CHANGE Susan E. Baker, 68, Brush area resident, died Wednesday evening at her home. She was born October 4, 1941 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania to Ralph and Cleta Mullen. She married Paul Baker June 5, 1965 in Newfane, NY. They moved their family to Brush in 1978. Susan was a Paraprofessional with the Thomson School until she became too ill to work. She was involved with the Brush Education Association and the Meet & Confer Committee with the Brush School District. She attended Trinity Baptist Church in Brush. She enjoyed being involved with the church, helping wherever she could. She taught Vacation Bible School and Awanas. She also enjoyed crocheting and traveling and especially cherished the time she could spend with her family. She is survived by her husband Paul of Brush; her daughter Heather Jones and husband Les of Ellensburg, WA; her sons Nathan Baker and wife Sherie of Greeley, and Shawn Baker and wife Julie of Rifle; her grandchildren, Christopher Baker, Joshua Baker, Zach Baker, Erika Baker and Lane Baker; and one brother Delbert Williams and wife June of Sherman, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Chad, one sister Gertrude O'Dell, and one brother Henry Williams. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening 5-8 PM at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Brush. ***A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at THE BRUSH HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM.*** Interment will follow at a later date in the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
