Susan L. Pietrowski, 59, of Ft. Morgan, died Friday morning at the Colorado Medical Center in Ft. Morgan. She was born September 15, 1952 in Denver to Gordon and Marjorie (Baughman) Bowman. Susan graduated from Merritt Hutton High School in Thornton and attended the dental program at the Northwestern Community College in Rangeley. She enjoyed gymnastics and music during school and had become an accomplished pianist. She married Phil Pietrowski on February 10, 1979 in Denver. They moved to Ft. Morgan in 1979 for Phil's work, and they have made Ft. Morgan their home since. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved gardening, dancing and baking pies and cookies. She enjoyed bowling in the Ft. Morgan Bowling League and she was an avid Bronco's and NASCAR fan. Susan is survived by her husband Phil of Ft. Morgan, her children Candice Wyrsch of Brush, and Scott Peters of Ft. Morgan, two step daughters, Amy Sauer and Kim Pellegrini both of Denver, one sister Cindy Cunningham of Denver, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her stepson Joseph Pietrowski, two brothers Bruce Bowman and Robert Bowman, and her parents. A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday with interment to follow in the Memory Gardens Cemetery.
