Obituary

Tanner Lee Bowen, 25, son of Carl Bowen and Julie Reyman was born October 14, 1990, in Fort Morgan, Colorado. He passed away on March 7, 2016.

Tanner, aka "DJ Lee" "Ghost" "Tan Tan" and "Spiderman" among many others, was raised in Fort Morgan. He also lived and attended school for a time in Cheyenne Wells, CO. He loved competing, whether in athletics or the annual Huck Finn Day contest, and was an avid skateboarder. He enjoyed adventure and new experience. He was up to try almost anything. He was a proud welder, movie critic, Disney and comic collector "Gambit!", and dabbled in music mixology. He lived for the moment.

Tanner was a free spirit who never met a stranger. He made friends everywhere he went. He knew how to love and be a friend you could count on no matter what. He experienced many trials in his young life. You wouldn't know it by looking at his smile and hearing his goofy laugh.

He was loved and will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family. His passing leaves a hole in this world and in our hearts. Nothing will be as bright without him here.

Tanner is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Hope and Swede Reyman, Ted and Hazel Groves, and Ella and Clarence Stephens; and grandfather, Rusty Bowen.

He is survived by his parents; three brothers, Zachary Bowen of Brush, Matthew Bowen and Keiffer Bowen of Arvada; grandparents, Dude and Shari Reyman of Fort Morgan and Margaret Bowen and Billy Williams of Fort Morgan; aunt and uncles, Brandon Reyman of Arvada, J.D. and Jill Wyatt of Galeton; two God-sons and a God-daughter, Dylan and Matix Virgil and Irelynn Bailey. He loved his dog "Gizzard", and he was also "Uncle Tanner" to many of his friends' children, and has numerous cousins and great aunts and uncles.

Visitation for Tanner will be at the Heer Mortuary, 225 E. Platte Ave. in Fort Morgan on Sunday, March 13th from 1 – 7 PM.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 14th at Life Fellowship, 17723 County Road 20 in Fort Morgan. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Fort Morgan.
