Obituary

Tarry Lee Cluff was born in Hermosa Beach, California on May 15, 1943 to Benjamin and Jenny Cluff. He was a twin, and one of eight siblings. After working in various western states, Tarry came to Brush in 1975 where he met and fell in love with his wife of 45 years, Connie.

Brush instantly became Tarry's home, and he is known throughout the Brush community for his positive connections and contributions. Whether passionately supporting the Brush Beetdiggers (both on and off the field), representing Santa Claus to the young and old during the holidays, or volunteering to better his community in the Lions Club, Tarry embraced everyone he met as family and friends. His quick sense of humor, authentic smile, and love for trivia will be missed by all.

Survivors include his wife, Connie, daughter, Tarron of Idaho, son Todd of Florida, son, Tarek of Nevada,  five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Donna, Claudine, Connie, and (his twin) Tina.

Tarry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Benny and Vance, and his youngest sister, Benay.

A Celebration of Life to remember Tarry has been planned for Friday, February 10, 2023 from 1-3 p.m. in the auditorium at Brush Secondary Campus (400 West Ave). The service will be live-streamed at OneRoom .

Instead of flowers, the family would encourage donations to Brush High School's Athletic fund to honor Tarry's continued love of the Beetdiggers at Brush High School.
