Obituary

Terri Lynn Lanckriet, 66, lifelong resident of Fort Morgan, joined her Heavenly Father, her parents, brother, and daughter on November 22, 2022, after a long battle with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

Terri was born on September 2, 1956, to Ed and Joanne (Zwetzig) Weber in Fort Morgan. She attended Fort Morgan Schools and graduated in 1974. After high school she went to work for Buick Chevrolet where she worked until the birth of her first child.  Terri married Doug Evelyn and became a devoted mother to her three children, Zach, Ashley and Lacee. While raising her children she worked part time as a teacher's assistant and volunteered regularly at Christ Congregational Church where she was a lifelong member. After her divorce she went to work for the Clatworthy Company and later worked for Standard Glass when she met and married Kevin Lanckreit in September of 2001. She recently found her favorite place of work at the Fort Morgan Federal Credit Union, where she was employed as a teller at the time of her death.

Terri will be remembered for her unrelenting love of her family and friends, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. She could often be found around town with one or more of her grandkids in tow, spoiling them before she took them home or dining with Kevin at Home Plate, their favorite restaurant. Her infectious laugh will be missed by anyone lucky enough to have heard it. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her kids and grandkids and enjoyed spending time with them and Kevin, going to Rockies Games and taking trips to Estes Park. She very much enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her flowers with her radio turned to 850 KOA nearby. When she wasn't outside, she would be watching the Rockies on TV with her dog "Dude".

Those who survive with memories of her to cherish include her husband, Kevin Lanckriet of Fort Morgan; her children, Zach (Kristin) Evelyn of Brush and Lacee (Daniel) McKay of Milliken; grandchildren, Makehna, Madison, and Myles Evelyn, all of Brush and Trinity Weiss of Severance; her brothers, Rick Weber and Scot Weber; sister-in-law, Diana Cumming and brother-in-law Eric (Peggy) Lanckriet.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Joanne Weber; brother, Robin Weber; daughter, Ashley Evelyn; and her father and mother-in-law, Henry and Irene Lanckreit

The best way to describe the life of Terri Lanckriet is this- "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family"- Mother Teresa
