Apr 29, 1955 — Aug 15, 2024
Terry Lee Ward, 69, of Brush, Colorado passed away on August 15, 2024.
Terry attended school in Flagler, Colorado, where he formed many lifelong friendships. He enlisted in the Navy before finishing high school but was able to return to Flagler to graduate with his class. While in the Navy, he proudly served on the USS Duluth, and as a surgical technician, earning the affectionate nickname "Doc."
Following his service, Terry returned to Flagler, and ran a local restaurant. He moved to Brush in the late 1980's and was the manager at True Grits. In 1993, Terry married Kim in Brush, CO. The couple shared a deep love for dancing and karaoke, often delighting friends and family with their rendition of "Two Sparrows in a Hurricane" by Tanya Tucker.
Terry had a passion for camping, fishing, and crafting, particularly building dollhouse furniture. He also enjoyed painting ceramics, bringing joy and creativity to everything he did.
Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of laughter, and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Donna Ward; and a sister Sue.
