Thelma V. Ford, 86, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran care Center in Brush. She was born April 20, 1920, in Big Sprngs, NE, to Glenn & Clara Doughty. Thelma graduated from Grant, NE, High School. She has lived in Morgan County since 1951. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing card games, especially pinochle, and doing embroidery work. Survivors include her children, Sandra Wolffrum of Arvada, CO, and Clint Ford of Fort Morgan; 1 brother, Hugh Doughty of Greeley, CO; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Bart, and Al; 1 sister, Lucille, and her parents. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 28, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church,, 618 Main Street in Fort Morgan. Concluding service and interment will be at 2:30 PM at the Big Springs, NE, Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan on Tuesday from 2 – 5 PM.
