THELMA ELIZABETH MUSSER, 97, longtime area resident, died Thursday evening, November 6, 2008 at the Valley View Villa Care Center in Fort Morgan. She was born November 12, 1910 in Mead, CO to Lige & Etta (Nix) Widner. She married Henry Musser and they moved to the area from Grover in 1939. Mrs. Musser enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She is survived by her son, Jim Musser of Weldona; two daughters, Betty Marshall of Wray, and Pauline Sorensen of Las Alamos, NM; two sisters, Dorothy McAlister of Fort Morgan, and Edith Sankey of Denver; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Virginia Marvin; four brothers, Harry, Elmer, Bill, and Robert Widner; her husband, Henry; and her grandson, Lane Sorensen. Memorial services will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Weldon Valley Presbyterian Church in Goodrich. Services will conclude at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to the Beehive Assisted Living, 1640 E. Riverview Ave., Fort Morgan, CO 80701. The Heer Mortuary in Fort Morgan is in charge of cremation arrangements.
