Theresa M. Jude, 57, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, CO. She was born September 1, 1956, in Northridge, CA to George & Nita Scriven. Theresa moved to New Zealand with her family in 1971, where she met Tony Jude. They married October 19, 1974, in Howick, New Zealand. Their first child Yvonne was born a year later, five months after the moved to America, where Rebecca and Thomas were born in California. In 1995, the Jude family moved to Thornton, CO and was anticipating moving to the Wiggins community, where they owned property, during the late summer of 2014. Prior to ill health forcing her retirement, Theresa worked as a graphic artist for the Boulder Daily Camera. She enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, and watching birds. She and Tony enjoyed riding and looking at trains. Survivors include her husband, Tony; 3 children, Yvonne Jude of Greeley, Rebecca Randel, and her husband, Nick of Eaton, CO, and Tom Jude of Thornton, CO; 3 sisters, Marion Barkley-Hardin and Sandy Blackie both of Sacramento, CA and Jean Perkins of Sixes, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Visitation will be at the Mortuary from 10 - 12 on Friday. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens.
