Obituary

Theresa "Terry" Ostrander, 95, passed away February 9, 2013, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, CO. She was born in Cicero, Illinois in January 1918. During WWII, Terry was an airplane mechanic at Gardner Field in California while her husband, James, was stationed there in 1943 & 1944. After the war, Terry and James moved to Denver. She lived in north Denver for 60 years until moving to Brush in 2006. Terry was a punch press supervisor at Rocky Mountain Orthodontics until retirement. She volunteered at her grandchildren's school and was lovingly known as "Grandma Terry" by the other students. She also volunteered at the North Federal Denver Public Library. Terry loved to travel. Terry is survived by her children, James II, Judy and Susan; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister. She is preceded in death by her husband, James, a son, Michael, and a grandson, Justin. A private family service was held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush, followed by interment at Fort Logan Cemetery.
