Theresa J. Roybal, 95, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Brush. She was born October 15, 1919, in Atwood, CO to Gregorio & Fedelia Carrasco. Theresa married Elick Roybal on September 10, 1938, in Sterling, CO. In 1965 the Roybal's moved to Brush. Theresa Roybal entered Sunset Manor on November 21, 2012. Survivors include her daughter, Helen Kelly of Bellflower, CA; 3 grandchildren, Shirley Peters, Ricky Blankenship and Christopher Blankenship; a great granddaughter, Desi Rae Reed; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elick Roybal, her companion, David Hemby; one daughter, Elaine Blankenship, 7 siblings and her parents. A private burial has taken place in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
