Thomas Theodore Carlson 79, of Fort Morgan, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Denver. He was born August 9, 1928 in Oak Park, Illinois to Theodore and Una (Faulkner) Carlson. Thomas married Eileen J. Pearson on June 28, 1952 in Gurnee, Illinois. They moved from Illinois to Morgan County in 1953. He was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Ft. Morgan. Thomas was also a member of the local Elks Club. He enjoyed riding four wheelers, traveling, fishing, camping and farming. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were very important to him. Survivors include his wife Eileen of Ft. Morgan, three sons, Thomas J. Carlson and Kit W. Carlson both of Ft. Morgan and Randal Carlson of Kersey, one daughter, Dana Rae Hanson of Ft. Morgan, two brothers, Carl D. Carlson of Wisconsin and David N. Carlson of Gurnee, Illinois, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roger J. Carlson and his grandson, Michael Thomas Hanson. The visitation will be Thursday, November 1st from 5 until 7 pm at the 1st Christian Church in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 2, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the 1st Christian Church in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the church.
