THOMAS JAMES MARSH, 60, longtime Fort Morgan resident, died Sunday afternoon, January 16, 2011 at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. He was born September 24, 1950 in North Platte, NE to Donald & Fern (Muirhead) Marsh. He married Dani Sue Bailey on March 1, 1975 in North Platte. They moved to Fort Morgan from Nebraska in 1982. Tom was a Journeyman Meat Cutter for Safeway from 1972 until his retirement in the fall of 2008. He was a member of the Morgan Game & Fish Conservation Club. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, and camping. He also liked to cook and he was an avid coin collector. Survivors include his wife, Dani Marsh and his daughter, Crystal Bower, both of Fort Morgan; his two sons, Bob Marsh of Loveland and Shaun Marsh of Denver; his sister, Deb Yager of Mission, TX and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 20th at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the chapel.
