Tillie (Starr) Andersons, 96, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush. She was born October 14, 1910, in Lincoln, NE, to Jacob & Jennie Fritzler. Before Tillie started school, the Fritzler family moved to Brush. She graduated from Brush High School in 1929. She married Claude Starr in Fort Morgan on June 28, 1930.. He died February 20, 1971. Tillie worked as a medical receptionist at the Brush Clinic for 30 years. Tillie later married Bill Anderson in Brush. Before health issues began affecting her participation, Tillie was a very active member of Calvary Assembly of God in Brush. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Donna Lorensen of Brush and Ron Starr of El Paso, TX; 4 grandchildren, Judy Hepner, Jan Jones, Donna Martinez, and Val Starr; 6 great grandchildren, Christie Barnhill, April Hepner, Nate Hepner, Geri Rogers, Arthur Ybarra, and Phillip Martinez; and 5 great great grandchildren, Kersten Rogers, Mason Rogers, Lyndie Barnhill, Travis Barnhill, and Krystall Starr. Funeral services will be at the Calvary Assembly of God, 1012 Eaton Street in Brush on Monday at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 – 7 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Brush.
