Todd R. Swanson II, 26, of Fort Morgan, died Sunday, June 5, 2016.

He was born April 29, 1990 in Denver to Todd & Jennifer Swanson. He moved to Fort Morgan in 2005.

At the time of his death, Todd was working for C.N.D. Construction of Fort Morgan. Todd loved fast cars and he particularly enjoyed detailing automobiles. He had a great sense of humor, a kind heart, and he would do anything for anybody. His greatest joy was spending time with his children.

Todd is survived by his wife, Samantha Rusch of Fort Morgan along with their two children, Derek Swanson and Alison Swanson; his sister, Trisha Swanson and brother-in-law, D.J. Brant, along with their daughter, Parker Brant, of Wesley Chapel, FL; his step father, Don Romero; his grandmother, Judy Perkins; and his grandfather, Roger Swanson and wife, Pearl; his father and mother-in-law, Mark and Annette Rusch; brother-in-law, Jason Rusch; aunt-in-law, Lori Schlueter and friend, David Cobb; cousins-in-law, Kendra and Randy Azevedo and Brandon Schlueter; and his grandfather-in-law, John Rusch. Todd was loved by many. He always put his family and friends first. To him, his friends were his family. He is also survived by those who loved him as their own, James and Shannon Allen and their daughter, Paige, Charles and Bev Walker, Frank and Sandy Figueroa; and his "brothers" and their spouses, Raymond and Shelby Ontiveros, and Curtis and Nicole Dahl, all of Fort Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Todd Swanson and Jennifer Romero; his grandmother, Mary Swanson; his grandfather-in-law, Howard Hobbs; and his grandmother-in-law, Barbara Rusch.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 11th at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 225 E. Platte Ave. in Fort Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium.
