Tom Bratrsovsky, born on December 31, 1954, to Cyril M. and Mary Agnes Bratrsovsky in Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2024, surrounded by several members of his family.
In the late 50s, the family moved to Fort Morgan, where Tom attended local schools, graduating in 1972. He worked alongside his father and brother, Ralph, managing CMB Auto Sales for 52 years. In 1975 he met his Sunshine, Christine Burchett, and they married in 1978. Together they built their home and raised a family north of Fort Morgan.
Tom was a dedicated member of St. Helena's Catholic Church and Elks Lodge #1143. He had a passion for restoring 30s to 50s Chevy trucks and was often seen driving one of them around the county.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife Chris; his daughters Connie (Don) Mitchell of Fort Morgan and Alison (Nate) Pilcher of Conifer; his son Tom Bratrsovsky of Fort Morgan; and his grandchildren Katie, Dominic, Abby, Grace, and Luke. He is also survived by siblings Anthony Bratrsovsky of Peyton, Donald Bratrsovsky of Hudson, Sr. Mary Bratrsovsky, O.S.B. of Lisle, IL, Sr. Agnes Bratrsovsky, O.C.D. of Colorado Springs, Ann (Don) Howsden of Calhan, Beth Boettcher of Fort Morgan, Jim (Eleanor) Bratrsovsky of Simla, Ralph (Debi) Bratrsovsky of Fort Morgan, and Loretta (Steve) Denes of Fort Morgan, and dozens of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, brothers Bernard Bratrsovsky, Leonard Bratrsovsky, Cyril Bratrsovsky, John Bratrsovsky, and sister Alma Fallon.
A viewing will be held at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan, CO on Thursday, July 18th at 4:00 pm, followed by a rosary at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan on Friday, July 19th at 11:00 am, with internment following at CMB Memorial Cemetery.
