Trinidad Carrillo, 94, former Hillrose resident, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007, at the Via Christi Wichita Health Network – St. Joseph campus in Wichita, KS. She was born February 21, 1913, in LaHavana, TX. ON March 10, 1932, she married Andres Carrillo in LaHavana. When living in Morgan County, Trinidad was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. After the death of her husband, Trinidad lived in various parts of the country with her children. Survivors include her children, Ted, and his wife, Carmen, their 5 children and 8 grandchildren; Ed, and his wife, Gloria, and their 6 children, 14 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren; Joe, and his wife, Bea, their 2 children and 6 great grandchildren; Irene Alvarez, and her husband, Antonio, their 3 children and 5 great grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Beatrice Carrillo of Hillrose and her 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andres, 3 sons, Alfredo, Agapito, and Don; 1 daughter, Maria; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, and her parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 8, 2007, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 340 Stanford Street in Brush. Interment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 – 7 followed a Rosary service at 7:00 PM at the Heer Mortuary in Brush.
