Twila May Brott, 72, of Fort Morgan, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her home.

She was born October 21, 1943 in Scottsbluff, NE to Roy & Mabel Harden. She moved to this area from Nebraska in 1967.

Twila worked as a Medical Records Clerk at Brush Clinic and later at Colorado Plains Center before her retirement in 1997. She was a member of Christ's Church in Fort Morgan. Twila loved camping, traveling, photography, and spent many hours in her yard and flower gardening. She always liked to be a helping hand to others.

Twila is survived by her daughter, Robin (Wayne) Schmeeckle of Fort Morgan; two sons, Paul Grippin of Fort Morgan and Travis (Marlene) Grippin of Fort Morgan; two sisters, Doris Smith of Emporia, KS, and Joyce Scofield of Wiggins; two brothers, Gerald (Margaret) Harden of Scottsbluff, NE and Delbert (Carol) Harden of Gering, NE. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Kassidy, Kenna, Wyatt, Shane, Austin, and Aaron Grippin and Grant and Lukas Schmeeckle, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Donald Harden; and her sister, Audrey Hellyer.

A funeral service will be Monday, June 20th at 10:00 AM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Fort Morgan. Interment will be at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff, NE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory to Twila to the Mountain States Children's Home, 14780 N. 107th Street, Longmont, CO 80504.
