Velma May Luce, 98, Died Saturday evening at the Valley View Villa in Ft. Morgan. She was born January 5, 1912 in Banner County, NE to Walter and Myrtle Longacre. She married William Zarbock on February 14, 1934, Their children and families, Marvin Zarbock of Thornton, who preceded her in death, married to Donna, grandchildren, Chad and Ann Zarbock, Rhonda and Matt Brown, great grandchildren Abby and Conner. Clara Foster of Eaton, married to Daniel, grandsons Lance and Kathy Lenhardt, great granddaughter Rhiannon and Paul Maggorie, great-great granddaughter Isabella, Mark and Becky Lenhardt, great grandchildren Brent, Bronson, Doug and Thalia. William Zarbock of Ft. Worth, TX, grandson Brandon and Amanda Zarbock, great grandson Corbin. Mary Jane Kohler of Aurora, granddaughters Amy Rodriguez, great grandchildren Braylen Theriault and Jodipaul Kohler-Simpson. She is also survived by one sister Cleo Longacre – Zarbock of Ft. Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Velma Married Homer A. Luce on August 14, 1969, they were married for 21, years. She enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the gardening club, the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, where she was a Sunday school teacher and played the piano until her 90's. She was also active in the Farmers Union and 4-H. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Interment will be held on Friday at 10:30 am at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Ft. Morgan, with a memorial service to be held immediately following the interment at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Ft. Morgan.
