Veronica Rodriguez, 39, died Friday, November 16, 2012 at her home in Brush. She was born February 12, 1973 in Hereford, Texas to Manuel and Ludivina (Ortega) Rodriguez Sr. Veronica moved to Brush from Sterling in 2004. She was a member of Saint Anthony's Catholic Church in Sterling. Veronica enjoyed reading, dancing, helping others and her prayer time. She loved her family and they were very important to her. Survivors include, her husband, Jose Luis Vega-Pena of Brush; son, Gaston Fernandez of Brush, daughter, Vanessa Fernandez also of Brush, three brothers, Manuel Rodriguez of Denver, James Rodriguez also of Denver and Noah Rodriguez of Sterling, two sisters, Bertha A. Rodriguez of Cardenas, Mexico, and M. Lorena Rodriguez of Sterling, and her mother, Ludivina Rodriguez of Sterling. She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Rodriguez Sr. Rosary and Memorial Services will be Monday, November 19. 2012 at 5:00 pm at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush. Mass will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:30 am at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Brush. Memorial Gifts may be made in her name in care of the Heer Mortuary in Brush.
