Vicki Joan Kipp, 63, longtime area resident, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at her home in Wiggins. She was born August 11, 1946 in Commerce City, CO to William and Julianne (Zurcher) Suvada. Vicki moved to Morgan County from Denver in 1966. On March 10, 1966 Vicki married Harold "Gene" Kipp in Ft. Morgan at the Assembly of God Church. He died in 2002. Vicki was the postmaster for the Post Office in Orchard. She took her job seriously. She never missed a day of work and had worked in the Post Office for over twenty years. Vicki enjoyed flowers, especially her roses, and liked making floral arrangements. She loved animals and supported the Humane Society and animal rescue shelters. Survivors include her daughter, Julianne Kipp of Vancouver, Washington and two granddaughters. Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene, and one son, William "Bill" Kipp. Memorial services will be Monday, January 18, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Services will conclude at the mortuary. There will be a private family inurnment in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, northeast of Yuma at a later date. Memorial Gifts may be made to the Humane Society in Ft. Morgan or Greeley or to the charity of one's choice.
