Vicky L. Hunt, 75, Washington County resident since 1979, passed away suddenly in the emergency room of the East Morgan County Hospital.  She was born February 21, 1946, in Denver, CO to Keith & Louise Gerstenberger.

In 1964 Vicky married Timothy B. Hunt in Brighton, CO.  She worked as a farm wife with her husband.  She enjoyed photography, reading, listening to country music, and camping.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.  A favorite activity with her family was watching her kids and grandchildren play  sports, hardly ever missing a game.

Survivors include her husband, Tim; 3 sons, Tim (Sabrina) Jr., Kip, and Cody (Monica) all of Akron; 2 sisters, Kaye Mosbarger & Kathy Palmer both of Byers, CO; 2 brothers, Jim Gerstenberger of Byers and Don of TX; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the Heer Mortuary Chapel in Brush at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow in the Hoyt Cemetery.  Those attending the service are encouraged to wear whatever personal protective equipment they are most comfortable wearing.
