Victoria Segura Reyes was born in Midland, Texas on January 11, 1928 and passed away at age 96 on August 1, 2024.

Cipriano Reyes Sr. was the love of Victoria's life until he passed in 1968. The couple moved and started their family in Fort Morgan, Colorado where Victoria remained until her passing.

While Victoria had a large, loving family and many friends, she also had a big soft spot for her cat Mario. She loved Mario very much and he went everywhere she went. The two quickly became best friends and he was her loyal companion until his passing in 2021.

Everyone who knew Victoria knew how much she loved to sew, do embroidery and cook. She was known by everyone for making amazing food but some of her best known dishes were her homemade tamales, tortillas, menudo and salsas. She never let you leave her home hungry.

Victoria was preceded in death by her husband and 9 children. She is survived by 4 children (Francisco Reyes, Simona Cancino, Sabina Gonzales and Felix Reyes), 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and even a few great, great grandchildren. She always treasured her time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Anyone that met Victoria could immediately see how strong, kind, loyal and beautiful she was inside and out.

Victoria Segura Reyes was the matriarch of the Reyes / Segura family and we couldn't have asked for a better mother, sister, aunt, grandma or friend. She will be missed every day and her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 9th at 9:00 AM at Saint Helena's Catholic Church in Fort Morgan. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:00 AM followed with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.
