Obituary

Victorine (Vicky) Evelyn Bath passed away on November 4, 2024, after a long and blessed life. She was born to Gustaf and Evelyn Hanson on April 28, 1924, in a farmhouse in Holdrege, Nebraska.

She attended school in Fort Morgan graduating in 1942. While in high school, she met a quiet, tall gentleman, Ralph Bath. They married in 1947 after Ralph returned from his service in the Navy. They lived in Fort Morgan for all of their lives. They were married for 63 years before Ralph's passing. Vicky was always proud of being of Swedish descent and loved to carry on family traditions passed down from her mother.

Vicky graduated from Colorado College of Education in 1968, now known as the University of Northern Colorado. She taught second grade at Sherman school for 20 years. Her goal was always to have her students able to read when they went on to third grade. Vicky was active in Delta Kappa Gamma PEO and the United Presbyterian Church. The most important things to her were God, family and her dog, Buffy.

Ralph and Vicky were blessed with three daughters: Cynthia (Bob) Jennings of Westminster, CO, Betsy (Jim) Yearous of Salpulpa, OK, and Gail (Gary) Westhoff of Fort Morgan, CO.

Vicky is survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren: Matt (Tracey) Yearous, Sterling and Canon of Tulsa, OK, Laura Yearous of Colorado Springs, CO, Elizabeth Yearous of Sapulpa, OK, Joel (Jennie) Yearous, Harlow and Caleb of Edmunds, OK, Gina Westhoff (Mike Khavul), Leah, Miriam, Raya and Golda of Portland, OR, Gennifer Westhoff, Adalynn of Denver, CO, Ginger (Roger) Owen, Lily of Brighton, CO. Her brother, Conrad (Eloise) Hanson, nephew Dane Hanson of Goodland, KS

A funeral service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church at Eben Ezer in Brush, Colorado, on Saturday, November 16th at 1:00 p.m. Those attending are required to wear a mask.
