Virginia Baltazar, 68, former Hillrose area resident, passed away Friday at the Camellia Health Care Center in Aurora, CO. She was born May 13, 1938, in Hillrose, to Ignacio & Frances Jimenez. She graduated from Hillrose High School. On March 9, 1957, Virginia married Emilio Baltazar in Fort Morgan. Shortly after their wedding, the Baltazar's' moved to the Denver area. Virginia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her 7 children, Wesley, Michael, Sonny & Jim all of Aurora, CO, Robert of Watkins, CO, Annette Baltazar-Robertson of Strasburg, CO, and Lisa Padilla of Denver; 2 sisters, Joanne DeLong and Rosalie Trujillo both of Brush; 4 brothers, Alexander Jimenez of Yuma, AZ, Randy Jimenez of Aurora; Robert Jimenez of Thornton, CO, and Samuel Jimenez of Sacramento, CA; 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio, 1 sister, Alice Lopez, 2 brothers, Edward & Ernest Jimenez, and her parents. A memorial service will be Tuesday, February 20, 2007, at 1:30 PM at the Heer Mortuary Chapel, 222 Cameron Street in Brush. Inurnment will follow in the Brush Memorial Cemetery.
