Virginia Patterson, 87, died February 13, 2011 at her home in Ft. Morgan. Born May 3, 1923 in Wheatridge, Colorado, Virginia Ruth Marsh Clark was raised by parents Leigh and Florence Clark, Monticello, Iowa. Over the course of her life she was blessed with love for three husbands, Earl Rynerson, Robert Thomas and Jack Patterson (all preceded her in death). Survivors include her son, D. Michael Rynerson (Kathy), of Coon Rapids, MN; daughter Kathy Christie (Mike Otis), of Englewood, CO; stepdaughter Judy Gerber (Elmer), of British Columbia, Canada; her sister, Marileigh Behrends of Iowa Falls, IA; her brother, William Marsh of San Bruno, CA; four grandsons, Joseph Christie, Clay Christie (Amy), Christopher Rynerson and Kyle Rynerson and two great grandsons, Owen and Henry Christie. She called Iowa, Montana and Colorado home, cultivating many caring relationships in each. She will be greatly missed. Virginia was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Ft. Morgan. She enjoyed singing (harmonizing any music), painting (canvas, glass, and wood articles), writing notes and letters to friends for special days, telephoning prayer requests, smiling a lot (to people everywhere), organizing everything and decorating. Memorial Services will be Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:30 am at the First Baptist Church in Ft. Morgan. Inurnment will follow in Serenity Falls Columbarium. Memorial gifts may be made to the First Baptist Church in Ft. Morgan.
