Obituary

Virginia Wulf, 92, a lifelong resident of Morgan County, Colorado joined her heavenly father on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. She was born in Weldona, CO to Henry Sell Jr. and Marie (Lebsock) Sell on November 27, 1932. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles A. Wulf on September 28, 1952, in Fort Morgan, CO, where they raised their 3 children. They met while riding horses between their two families' homes north of Fort Morgan on the Wildcat Creek.

Her entire life was devoted to her family. She was an incredible mom, grandma, and great-grandma. She helped raise her siblings as they were growing up and provided loving care for her mother in her later years. She treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her own, especially her sister's children, who lost their mother at a young age. She was a faithful homemaker her entire life. She enjoyed cooking (the best meatloaf ever), canning, sewing, baking bread, making homemade noodles, cabbage pockets and cakes.

She made quilts for each of her children when they married.  She made both of her daughter's wedding dresses and veils. She spent her younger years making outfits for her children and making treats for their classes as a room mother- while in grade school. She enjoyed trips to the mountains, Blackhawk, and casual rides through the countryside, especially north of Dodd Bridge road.

She was more than a mother, she was a great listener, she was our strength, our rock, our best friend, and our whole world. She was always a part of our daily lives. She was kind and showed warmth, humor, and unconditional love. She will be greatly missed.

Virginia is survived by 2 daughters Karen (Kenny) Rehn of Brush, CO, and Kathy Latoski of Fort Morgan, CO, and 1 son Bryan Wulf of Fort Morgan, CO. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren; Kimberly (Ralph) of Brush, CO, Brandon Wulf of Arapahoe, NE, Cass Wulf (Chelsea) of Greeley, CO and Colton Wulf (Leslie) of Fort Morgan, CO. She has 6 great-grandchildren, Michaela and Easton of Arapahoe, NE, Caiden and Charlie of Greeley, CO, and Ayleah and Levi of Brush, CO. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Sandy Sell, Elaine Sell, and Peggy O'Neal, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She leaves behind her beloved companion boxer, Simon, who never left her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, parents Henry and Marie, and siblings Ervin Sell, Henry Sell, Richard (Darlene) Sell, and Sandy (Jack) Crownover. Her son-in-law Stan Latoski, and father and mother-in-law Floyd and Helen Wulf.

Virginia requested no funeral services, but the family may plan a private celebration of life at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and doctors at East Morgan County Hospital in Brush, CO, for their kindness and amazing care of Virginia in her final days.
