Obituary

Wade Everit Pemberton, 83, formerly of Gill, died, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at his daughter's home in Ft. Morgan. Wade was born January 18, 1928 to John A. and Frances Sarah (Silvey) Pemberton in Kiowa Colorado. He was the 7th of 9 children. He helped his father and brothers farm in and around the Kiowa area until he went into the service. He served in the military from March 1946 thru October 1947. He worked in the oilfields and as a mechanic on a road construction crew. He also operated heavy machinery when needed. Wade worked for Herron and Strong Brothers and also Goodell Brothers until his retirment in 1990. Over the years he had worked on most of the roads in Colorado. He spent the years after retirement helping the family with different projects. Wade married F. Marie Fisher-Pachner. And together they raised five children, Gary, Lary, Bridget, Sherie, and Randy. He was a loving father and grandfather. Wade enjoyed fishing and taking care of his flower and vegetable gardens. He also loved tinkering on cars, lawn mowers etc., or anything that needed a good mechanic's touch. Survivors include one daughter, Sherie Hayes and husband Bob of Ft. Morgan and their four children, Dawn Hayes; Bridget Sirios and husband Tyler, and their children Kamryn and Anthony; Beckie McCormick and her husband Brad and their son Lucas; Ashlee Reed and her husband Chase; three sons, Randy Pemberton and wife Christine of Aurora, and their children, Dale Pemberton and Aimee Chambers and her son Jordan; Lary Pachner of Gill; and Lynn Pachner and wife Candi of Greeley and their son Jackson. Wade is also survived by two sisters, Irene Carrier of Arkansas and Ruth Paine-Cavanaeugh of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter-in-law, Carlene Pachner-Miller and her husband Pat and Pat's four children, Troy Pachner and wife Fran, their children are Heidi and Isiah; Greg Pachner and wife Gina, their children are Grant and Gena; Marcus Pachner and wife Stacy; and her fourth child is Misti (Pachner) Tigges and husband Levy and their daughter Emma. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 5 until 7 pm at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 9, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Heer & Dahl Mortuary Chapel in Ft. Morgan. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Sterling, Colorado. Memorial Gifts may be made in Wade's name in care of the Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the arrangements.
