Wanda F. Smith, 89, of Loveland, CO, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018. She was born November 17, 1928, in Lima, Ohio to Arnold and Alice (Sherer) Stirn.

She was raised in Lima and graduated from Elida High School. On June 6, 1948, Wanda married Gene Smith. They lived in Ohio, Florida, and Colorado. Prior to retirement she worked as a bookkeeper at Loveland High.

Wanda attended Galilee Baptist. She enjoyed camping & traveling, and doing volunteer work for several Christian organizations.

Survivors include 2 children, Jay Smith of Carbondale, CO and Anna (Terry) Larsen of Brush, CO; 2 grandchildren, Reesa & Burke; a sister, Wuanita Kruse and a brother, Eldon Stirn. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings, Orvie, Donald, and Lila.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 2:00 at the Galilee Baptist Church, 2525 Van Buren Ct. in Loveland. Visitation will be at the church from 1:00 – 2:00. Concluding services and interment will be at the Brush Memorial Cemetery, Brush, CO, on Thursday, March 29, at 11:30. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.heermortuary.com.
