Obituary

WARREN EDGAR ROSENFIELD, 71, longtime area resident, died Saturday morning, December 13, 2014 at his home in Hillrose. He was born May 11, 1943 in Loveland to Harold & Bessie (Metcalf) Rosenfield. Warren married Janet Scott in Fort Morgan on December 7, 1962. Warren was a truck driver for the majority of his working years. He had also worked for Dorn Ready Mix Corp. in Fort Morgan for 20 years. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, the mountains, and being on the road in his truck. He also enjoyed snowmobiling. Warren is survived by his wife, Janet Rosenfield of Hillrose; his sons, Brian Dean Rosenfield, (and wife, Kris), of Baker City, OR, and Gene Wehrer, (and wife, Cindy), of Fort Morgan; four brothers, Harold Rosenfield, Jr. of Buffalo, WY, Charles Rosenfield, (and wife, Jean), of Denver, Gerald Dean Rosenfield of Hillrose, and Kenny Rosenfield of Brush; his sister, Thelma Kiddie of Cheyenne, WY; four grandchildren, Tanya Coch, Kevin Wehrer, Lorrissa Rosenfield, and Colton Rosenfield; and two great grandchildren, Ellie Coch and Karson Coch. Warren was preceded in death by his parents. At Warren's request, a private burial will take place in the Jackson County Cemetery in Walden. There will not be a formal service.
