Wesley "Wes" R. Bills, 89, of Fort Morgan, passed away, Friday, August 9, 2024 at the East Morgan County Hospital in Brush.

He was born in Sidney, NE on December 8, 1934 to Roy & Verneta (Schmidt) Bills. He graduated from Lodgepole, NE in 1952. He married Elzora Buettenback on January 4, 1959.

Wes opened B & B Home Appliance in Fort Morgan in 1986 and ran the store until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed traveling in his motorhome and riding his motorcycle, going to Sturgis every year for nearly 30 years.

Wes is survived by his children, Tim Bills, Jerry (Sandra) Bills, Terry Bills, and Sherry Armstrong; grandchildren, T.C. (Paula) Bills, Ashley Bills, Alexis (Jessica) Bills-Bustillos, Cali Bills, Dustin (Danielle) Armstrong, Tyler (Merisa) Armstrong, and Masen Armstrong. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, Malachi, Tyson, and Max Bills, Madison and Lilly Wilson, Kai Bills-Bustillos, Bailey, Harper, Kymber, Cooper, Jax, Taya, Kyden, and Steyr Armstrong; and two brothers, Byron and Stan Bills.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Verneta Bills; his wife, Elzora Bills; his in-laws, Dewey & Faye Buettenback; daughter-in-law, Beverly Bills; and son-in-law, Mitch Armstrong.
