William Edward Bass, 84, Lifetime Colorado resident, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at Sunset Manor in Brush.   He was born August 1, 1931 in Brush, CO. to Bryan and Edna Bass.

On June 25, 1961, Bill married Phyllis Refior and they raised 4 boys on the family dairy farm. After his retirement he worked at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge TN.

Bill was a simple man who loved God and his family, especially his grandchildren. Bill and Phyllis were introduced to square dancing in 1978 and danced for many years. He also loved traveling and woodworking.

Survivors include his three sons, Dan (Danette) of Hayden, CO, Don (Deanna) of Fort Morgan, and Philip of New Raymer; two sisters, Betty (Bob) Herbst of Brush, Cathy (Gary) Anthony of Kansas; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis; son, Mark; sister, Evelyn, and his parents.

A Graveside/Memorial service will be at Brush Memorial Cemetery on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
