William Rocha, 87, life resident of Brush, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. He was born June 25, 1929, in Brush, to Guadalupe & Juana Rocha.
William served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Following his discharge, William came back to Brush and worked for the Boxer & Sons cattle feedlots & did construction work.
On June 15, 1963, William married Mary Lou Montoya in Alamosa, CO. William enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and doing lawn work.
Survivors include his 3 children, Debbie (Craig) Morrison, Patricia (Larry Rodriguez) Sanchez, and Allen Rocha; 1 brother, Jessie Rocha; 4 sisters, Cruz Rivera, Jenny Mata, Josie Ponce, and Julia Rocha; 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, 1 son, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and his parents.
A graveside service and inurnment, with military honors, will be at the Brush Memorial Cemetery Interment Chapel on Wednesday, August 17, at 11:00 AM. The Heer Mortuary & Crematory is entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to the staff at Eben Ezer and East Morgan County Hospital for the care given to Willie.
