William Lowe Sprague, 69, formerly of Wheat Ridge, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at his home in Brush. He was born January 17, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Leonard and Olive (Swanson) Sprague. On December 18, 1965 William married Diane Mayer in Denver. William was a letter carrier during his working years. He and his wife Diane moved to Morgan County about twelve years ago from Wheat Ridge. He enjoyed playing table tennis and woodworking. Survivors include his wife Diane of Brush, two sons, Charles Sprague of Wheat Ridge, and Bret Sprague of Gastonia, North Carolina, one sister, Lynn Blacker of Indian Rock, Idaho and two grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his parents, There are no funeral services scheduled at this time. The Heer & Dahl Mortuary in Ft. Morgan is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
