Yvonne "Bonnie" Marie Temple, 82, was called home, surrounded by family, on July 8, 2023.

Bonnie was born February 4, 1941 in Stockton, KS to Glen Sr. and Bessie Wise. The family moved to Minturn, CO in 1942 and she graduated from Minturn High School.

Bonnie met the love of her life, Harry, in Greeley, CO where she worked at a Woolworths store. They married on November 15, 1959 in Fort Morgan. Bonnie and Harry had two daughters, Deborah and Linda. They moved to the country where they farmed for a number of years. After they retired from farming, they bought their home in town and Bonnie worked at Johnson's Super Foods and then Edward's Right Price Market for a number of years before she finally retired.

Bonnie loved people. She enjoyed all the people she met while working in the retail business. Bonnie and Harry also loved to go to the local racetrack and watch her grandsons' race, never missing a Saturday night of racing. Bonnie also loved bowling on the Wednesday night bowling league. She also loved taking long rides in the car around the town. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart.

Bonnie is survived by her two daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Smith of Log Lane Village, and Linda Temple Helzer of Fort Morgan; her brother, Bob Wise of Grand Junction, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her parents, and her stepmom, her half-sister, one brother, and her great grandson, Maki.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 19th at 10:30AM at Platte Valley Baptist Church in Fort Morgan. Services will conclude at the church.
